Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Azorius blink combo strategy commanded by Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward paired with Candlekeep Sage. The deck leverages dense early mana acceleration to deploy Candlekeep Sage on Turn 3 and Abdel Adrian on Turn 4. Abdel exiles the deck's own mana rocks, utility artifacts, and ETB creatures under his continuous ability, simultaneously sheltering them from board wipes, producing an army of 1/1 Soldier tokens, and drawing cards upon entering and leaving. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal win through deterministic flicker loops. Combining Abdel with spell-recursion creatures like Archaeomancer and cheap blink spells like Cloudshift or Ephemerate generates infinite mana, infinite tokens, and draws the library, closing the game immediately through Altar of the Brood mill or Halo Fountain. The deck boasts remarkable resilience because removing Abdel simply returns all exiled ramp and card-draw engines directly to the battlefield.
