Deck overview

This Azorius deck uses Hope Estheim to convert lifegain into symmetric library milling. The early game focuses on deploying redundant soul sisters such as Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, and Auriok Champion alongside Authority of the Consuls. Once Hope Estheim enters the battlefield, creature entries and lifelink combat trigger end-step mill effects that scale with every point of life gained. Life multipliers like Rhox Faithmender, Boon Reflection, and The Wind Crystal rapidly accelerate both your life total and the mill count. The deck closes games around Turn 7 using decisive payoffs. Beacon of Immortality can double an elevated life total to mill opponents for 40 or more cards in one end step. Alternatively, Felidar Sovereign, Aetherflux Reservoir, or Bruvac the Grandiloquent paired with Maddening Cacophony provide independent game-ending routes. The deck features dependable mana and efficient spot removal, though it relies on natural draws rather than tutors to find its key finishers.
