Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated mono-red Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. It focuses on accelerating mana through cost-reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and mana artifacts to cast high-impact flying threats ahead of curve. Once Lathliss, Dragon Queen is deployed, every subsequent nontoken Dragon produces a 5/5 flying Dragon token. The deck leverages enter-the-battlefield damage multipliers like Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Warstorm Surge to convert creature deployment into direct player and creature damage. Combat power is further amplified by haste enablers, extra combats from Hellkite Charger and Scourge of the Throne, and damage doublers like Terror of Mount Velus. While the deck possesses massive flying stats and explosive burst potential, it relies heavily on permanent-based board presence and has limited countermagic protection, making it vulnerable to board sweepers and targeted removal.
