Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by Zaxara, the Exemplary, combining big-mana ramp with high-synergy X-spell payoffs and a decisive infinite combo finish. The deck leverages dense 1- and 2-drop ramp to deploy Zaxara on turn 3. Once active, Zaxara acts as both a double-mana producer and a token engine, creating massive Hydra tokens whenever an X-spell is cast. The primary win condition revolves around enchanting Zaxara with Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura to generate infinite mana of every color. This infinite mana is funneled into game-ending X-spells such as Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Walking Ballista to eliminate the entire table in a single turn. Outside the combo, the deck can play a powerful midrange beatdown strategy by scaling huge trampling threats with Branching Evolution and Garruk's Uprising, while asymmetric sweepers like Culling Ritual and Cyclonic Rift keep opponents off balance.
