Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale is a Sultai self-mill engine that turns its own graveyard into lands, Zombie Druid tokens, and Treasures. The primary plan is to fill the yard aggressively, use Teval's leave-graveyard triggers to generate blockers and mana, and finish with a huge Jarad sacrifice or a Gravecrawler/Ashnod's Altar loop. Teval's attack-returned land also fuels landfall payoffs such as Ob Nixilis, the Fallen and Aesi. Six and Kotis act as hidden commanders, letting the deck cast spells and permanents from the graveyard. Without Teval the engine slows, but the self-mill shell, tutors, and independent combo lines keep the deck functional.
