This mono-blue Merfolk deck turns Grandmother Goby into a token factory. Every noncreature spell you cast is countered but creates 1/1 Merfolk equal to its mana value, so control spells become army builders. Lords like Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident pump the board, while Deepchannel Mentor makes blue creatures unblockable for lethal combat. Emperor Mihail II and Seahunter act as hidden engines that draw and tutor Merfolk, and a dense counterspell suite protects the board. With no infinite combo, wins come from go-wide combat fueled by convoke and card draw.
