Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu aggressive tokens and aristocrats strategy led by Caesar, Legion's Emperor. It builds an early presence with efficient low-cost creatures and token makers before casting Caesar on Turn 4. Caesar provides a versatile attack trigger that fuels hand advantage, expands the board with attacking tokens, and delivers direct burn. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by stacking anthem effects such as Fervent Charge and trigger multipliers like Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Teysa Karlov. Opponents face pressure from both wide combat steps and passive life drain from cards like Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim.
