Format: Commander

Commander: Kasla, the Broken Halo

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kasla, the Broken Halo leads a Jeskai convoke deck built around turning creatures into mana and convoke spells into cantrips. The plan is to flood the board with tokens-from Kykar, Wind's Fury, Saint Traft and Rem Karolus, The Locust God, and landfall makers-then chain convoke spells to draw cards, scry, and pop off. The commander's 5/4 flying/vigilance/haste body attacks immediately, and every subsequent convoke spell draws a card. Wins come from a wide airborne swarm amplified by Felidar Retreat and Elspeth, Sun's Champion, from incidental pings via Impact Tremors and Agate Instigator, or from the Helm of the Host + Combat Celebrant infinite-combat loop. It is a midrange, synergy-heavy deck that wants to explode in the mid-game rather than combo early.
