Commander: Kona, Rescue Beastie

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-green 'cheat big permanents' deck built around Kona, Rescue Beastie's Survival trigger. The primary plan is to deploy a one-mana dork, cast Kona on turn three, attack, and then use its second-main trigger to put a high-impact permanent straight from hand onto the battlefield. Secondary paths are big-mana combat with haste from Akroma's Memorial, mass draw with The Great Henge, Guardian Project, or Last March, and the occasional two-card cheat via Defense of the Heart or Kodama of the East Tree. Kona is the key engine; when it is not on the battlefield, the deck's speed and threat density drop sharply.
