Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Dragon Reanimator and Midrange engine commanded by Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar and Acolyte of Bahamut. The strategy focuses on using Acolyte of Bahamut's cost reduction to deploy terrifying Dragons ahead of curve, or placing them into the graveyard with cards like Entomb to reanimate them early via Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Victimize. Once high-power Dragons such as Old Gnawbone, Ancient Bronze Dragon, and Ancient Brass Dragon hit the battlefield, Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar converts their massive power into explosive card draw by drawing four to seven cards at a time. The deck uses this continuous card advantage to maintain insurmountable board presence, protect its threats, and clear opposing boards asymmetrically with Crux of Fate. Victory is achieved by overwhelming the table through massive flying combat damage, mass reanimation from Living Death, or a game-ending Finale of Devastation overrun.
