Deck overview

This is a hyper-focused, mono-black combo-control deck commanded by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. The entire strategy exploits K'rrik's ability to convert life into black mana, accelerating the deployment of rituals, tutors, and recursion spells at an extremely low cost. The deck is layered with multiple infinite or value-based combos (Necrotic Ooze loops, Aetherflux Reservoir storm, Gray Merchant of Asphodel recursion), while Bolas's Citadel and Asmodeus the Archfiend provide massive card advantage. The plan is to storm through the deck, generate absurd life swings, and end with a drain to win-often making 50+ life difference in a single turn. The deck is incredibly compact and efficient, though it relies heavily on the graveyard as a second hand.
