Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu aggro-combo strategy piloted by Zurgo, Thunder's Decree. Zurgo attacks with Mobilize 2 to create tapped and attacking Warrior tokens, and his static ability prevents those tokens from being sacrificed during the end step. This creates an ever-growing army of non-Human Warriors that compound rapidly with token doublers, extra combat steps, and ETB burn effects. The deck peaks on Turn 4 by bridging token swarms into explosive engines like Winota, Joiner of Forces or Devilish Valet, while retaining compact infinite combo finishes through Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker paired with Combat Celebrant, Zealous Conscripts, or Village Bell-Ringer.
