Deck overview

This mono-green deck centers on Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender to turn the land base into an army of massive, resilient beaters. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp spells like Nature's Lore, Cultivate, and Skyshroud Claim to rapidly hit eight mana by Turn 5. Once Kyoshi lands, her combat trigger immediately creates an 8/8 hasty land creature that returns to the battlefield tapped if it is destroyed or exiled. Counter doublers such as Branching Evolution and Innkeeper's Talent quickly balloon these animated lands into massive threats. Trample enablers like Garruk's Uprising and Kodama of the West Tree ensure combat damage pushes through blockers to eliminate opponents over successive turns. Built-in turn hexproof on Kyoshi and efficient protection spells like Heroic Intervention safeguard the board from sweepers, while power-based draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise keep the hand full.
