Deck overview

This Mono-White deck executes a classic Lifegain Midrange strategy led by Liliana the Faultless. The game plan revolves around deploying inexpensive lifegain enablers to trigger powerful payoff creatures and token generators. By stacking +1/+1 counters onto threats like Voice of the Blessed, Ajani's Pridemate, and Archangel of Thune, or building a wide board of 4/4 Angels and 5/5 Horses, the deck constructs an imposing combat presence. Liliana the Faultless offers reliable utility from the command zone, providing both incidental lifegain triggers on creature entry and targeted hexproof protection to shield key threats from enemy removal. With alternate win conditions like Aetherflux Reservoir, Ajani, Strength of the Pride, and Approach of the Second Sun, the deck can pivot when combat stalls. While the deck boasts high internal synergy and resilience against targeted removal, its lack of fast mana acceleration and sparse instant-speed interaction make it dependent on curving out smoothly through natural land drops.
