Deck overview

This mono-black deck blends traditional Aristocrats sacrifice synergies with explosive storm-velocity enabled by Gwenom, Remorseless. The game plan establishes early recursive creatures and free sacrifice outlets before casting Gwenom. When Gwenom attacks, her ability allows you to play cards directly from the top of your library by paying life instead of mana. Using scry and surveil outlets like Viscera Seer and Woe Strider, the deck filters away excess lands to chain multiple creature spells, token producers, and drain pieces in a single turn. Aristocrat staples such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance convert creature sacrifices into life gain that fuels further top-deck casting while draining each opponent simultaneously. Dedicated protection like Swarmyard and 1-mana death-return instants ensure Gwenom survives to attack, driving the game toward a decisive Turn 7 table elimination.
