Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Red Dragon Stompy archetype led by Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant. The strategy accelerates through early cost reducers and artifact ramp to deploy massive Dragon threats multiple turns ahead of schedule. Once on the battlefield, cards like Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas convert creature deployment into immediate direct damage while providing haste. The deck overwhelms opponents through aerial combat and exponential token swarms from Lathliss, Dragon Queen and Utvara Hellkite. In addition to combat pressure, the deck includes a backup infinite mana line using Mana Geyser and Reiterate to burn out the table. The primary vulnerabilities include a lack of enchantment interaction and exposure to board sweepers, but high threat density and explosive mana generation allow the deck to maintain strong momentum.
