Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact swarm strategy centered on the Myr creature type, commanded by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost mana Myr and mana rocks to accelerate ahead of curve. By Turn 4, the deck establishes its commander alongside scaling anthems such as Steel Overseer, Adaptive Automaton, or Door of Destinies. On Turn 6, it reaches critical threat onset by resolving centerpiece finishers like Myr Battlesphere or activating Myr Incubator to generate a massive token army. Because the deck lacks haste enablers, it eliminates opponents sequentially over three combat rounds, targeting a Turn 9 victory. The deck features reliable mana acceleration and resilient graveyard recursion through cards like Myr Retriever and Trading Post, but it possesses clear vulnerabilities: it runs virtually no instant-speed interaction or stack protection, leaving its wide board states susceptible to mass removal.
