Deck overview

This Izzet deck is an explosive spellslinger storm strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both an escalating mana engine and a potent win condition. Every noncreature spell cast places a +1/+1 counter on Vivi and deals 1 damage to each opponent. The core game plan revolves around attaching Curiosity or soulbonding Tandem Lookout to Vivi. Because Vivi damages all three opponents simultaneously, every single noncreature spell draws three cards. This massive card influx fuels continuous spell chains of cantrips, cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer and Baral, Chief of Compliance, and burst mana from Vivi's tap ability or Storm-Kiln Artist. The deck quickly cycles through its library, using Underworld Breach to replay spent spells and burn the table to zero life in a single turn. High-density countermagic and hexproof spells like Shore Up defend the combo, while Niv-Mizzet, Parun provides a lethal alternate finish.
