Betor, Ancestor's Voice leads an Abzan lifegain/reanimation deck that turns life-gain triggers into both board growth and graveyard recursion. The primary plan is to drop a cheap soul sister, ramp into Betor, and use his end-step trigger to grow a blocker/attacker while reanimating small utility creatures. A secondary plan is the two-card drain loop: any 'gain life -> opponent loses life' effect together with any 'opponent loses life -> you gain life' effect wins on the spot. Celestine, the Living Saint acts as a hidden second commander with the same recursion pattern, while Serra Ascendant, Archangel of Thune, and Valgavoth provide an evasive combat fallback.
