Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola Rhul

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Y'shtola Rhul is a mono-blue tempo-theft shell that converts an assured second end step per turn into a blinking factory. Each turn gives two end steps, so the deck double-taps Thassa, Conjurer's Closet, Agent of Treachery, and draw-on-leave engines to generate lasting advantage. It aims to outlast opponents by stealing their lands and nonlands, drawing via leave-the-battlefield triggers, and finishing with a few attackers plus life loss on tapped creatures. It plays heavy stack interaction to keep the engine safe and uses several permanent-doubling effects to accelerate its end-step triggers. The win is normally a strategic concession or a lethal swing with a Battlesphere-style bump rather than a pure combo; speed is moderate, but the engine both accives toward and survives into late turns.
