Deck overview

This Dimir deck focuses on Zombie tribal synergies, self-mill, and graveyard recursion led by Gisa and Geralf. Early turns focus on developing mana rocks, filling the graveyard with self-mill creatures like Stitcher's Supplier and Mire Triton, and establishing card draw engines such as Undead Augur. In the mid game, the deck deploys Gisa and Geralf to reuse key utility creatures, clear opposing boards using recursive Fleshbag Marauder sacrifices, and build an imposing presence with tribal lords like Diregraf Captain and Lord of the Accursed. The endgame leverages high-impact sorceries such as Zombie Apocalypse, Army of the Damned, or Dread Summons to flood the battlefield, closing the game through overwhelming combat damage supported by aristocrat drain triggers from Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Vengeful Dead. While resilient to single-target removal thanks to strong recursion, the deck remains vulnerable to dedicated graveyard hate and sorcery-speed sweepers.
