Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Abzan combat engine helmed by Felothar the Steadfast. It leverages low-power, high-toughness creatures and defenders to generate extreme early mana velocity and card advantage before converting defensive bodies into massive offensive threats. By reassigning combat damage to toughness, cheap blockers like Indomitable Ancients and Tree of Perdition hit for 10 to 13 damage each. The deck breaks parity on board wipes through asymmetric spells like Slaughter the Strong, Dusk // Dawn, and Expel the Interlopers, which obliterate opposing threats while leaving its own low-power wall army completely untouched. When Felothar is unavailable, redundant effects like Doran, the Siege Tower and Assault Formation keep the pressure going. Supported by solid targeted removal and mass recursion like Eerie Ultimatum, the deck overwhelms standard midrange pods through pure stat disparity and relentless combat pressure.
