Deck overview

This is a Dimir flash Faerie tempo/control deck helmed by Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The core game plan is to play almost entirely at instant speed - flashing in Faeries on opponents' turns to trigger Alela's token generation, then using combat damage from those Faeries to goad opposing creatures into fighting each other. The deck layers a dense countermagic and removal suite over a flying token army, accumulating incremental card advantage through Kindred Discovery, Bident of Thassa, Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, and Faerie Mastermind. The primary win is a combat knockout: Notorious Throng cast for its prowl cost after Rogue damage delivers a massive token swarm plus an extra turn, while Shadow Puppeteers can convert the whole flying army into 4/4 Dragons for a lethal swing. Door of Destinies and Scion of Oona pump the swarm. It is a patient, interactive deck that grinds the table down before converting board presence into elimination.
