Deck overview

This deck is a focused Dimir Ninja Tempo Burn list helmed by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary strategy hinges on deploying cheap, evasive 1-drop creatures on the first turn to enable Yuriko's commander ninjutsu on Turn 2. Because commander ninjutsu is an activated ability that completely bypasses the commander tax, Yuriko provides extreme operational velocity and resilience against targeted removal. Once in play, Yuriko converts unblocked combat damage into massive asymmetric table burn by revealing high-mana-value spells like Draco, Shadow of Mortality, and Blinkmoth Infusion. The deck supplements this burn engine with efficient topdeck manipulation, cheap interaction, and supplemental ninjas to generate consistent card advantage. Lacking stax or infinite combos, the list operates as a proactive combat engine that steadily grinds down all three opponents simultaneously, threatening table-wide elimination by Turn 6.
