Deck overview

This Reaper King list is a hybrid 5-color Changeling tribal and combo-control deck. The primary win condition is a compact infinite creature combo utilizing Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, which reliably produces infinite hasty 2/2 tokens on Turn 4 to eliminate the entire table in a single combat step. Backing this plan is a robust suite of 1–2 CMC mana dorks and ramp spells that accelerate mana velocity, complemented by a versatile tutor package including Eladamri's Call, Diabolic Intent, and Transmute spells. If the primary combo is contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into a midrange control engine: Reaper King turns every low-cost Changeling into unconditional permanent destruction, while Emiel the Blessed and Peregrine Drake offer infinite mana loops to flicker permanents or mill opponents out with Altar of the Brood. Efficient interaction and flexible protection ensure resilience across multiple game phases.
