Deck overview

This deck is an Esper midrange strategy led by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist that turns discarded creature cards into immediate 4/4 Zombie token copies for {2}{U}. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, repeatable looting engines such as Psychic Frog, Ghostly Pilferer, and Likeness Looter on early turns, then casting Hashaton on curve. By Turn 4, discarding game-ending bombs like Grave Titan, Archfiend of Ifnir, Massacre Wurm, or Sheoldred, Whispering One produces massive board swings well ahead of normal mana curves. Zombie tribal synergies amplify the board with evasion and protection from Gleaming Overseer, Eternal Skylord, and On Wings of Gold, while secondary engines like The Scarab God and Victimize provide robust graveyard redundancy. The deck controls opposing creature boards through recurring attrition and closes games around Turn 7 with overwhelming combat damage and life-drain triggers.
