Alania Otter Spellslinger by Isanx

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Vivi Ornitier deck wins by casting many cheap instant and sorcery spells. Vivi grows with each noncreature spell, deals 1 damage to each opponent, and later taps for mana equal to its power to fund a storm turn. Redundant pingers such as Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Urabrask add 1-2 damage per spell, while doublers like Veyran and Harmonic Prodigy multiply triggers. Secondary wins use large X spells (Comet Storm, Crackle with Power, Jaya's Immolating Inferno) powered by Vivi mana and treasures from Storm-Kiln Artist and Birgi. Vivi is the central engine and mana source; Veyran acts as a hidden commander that doubles the ping output.
