Deck overview

Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor commands a high-velocity Mono-Blue artifact combo deck designed to cheat expensive, game-ending artifacts into play ahead of curve. The strategy leverages dense 0–1 CMC fast mana (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Mishra's Workshop) alongside efficient draw triggers (Brainstorm, Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, Bazaar of Baghdad) to rapidly stack ingenuity counters on Lady Octopus. Once assembled, Lady Octopus cheats powerhouse permanents such as The One Ring, Chromatic Orrery, or Unwinding Clock into play for zero mana. The deck finishes decisively through the two-card infinite combo of Chromatic Orrery and Filigree Sages, producing infinite colored mana and drawing the entire library to burn out all opponents with Glaring Fleshraker or eliminate them via Prologue to Phyresis and Radstorm. Backed by a premier suite of free interaction (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Pact of Negation, Flusterstorm) and redundant tutors, the deck executes a compact, resilient game plan.
