Deck overview

This is a mono-black sacrifice-theft and drain deck helmed by Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern. The fair plan deploys edicts, discard, and Pox-style effects while Tergrid, God of Fright is on the battlefield, converting every sacrificed nontoken permanent and discarded permanent card into a stolen asset. Parallel to that, the deck runs a dense suite of life-drain payoffs-Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Psychosis Crawler, Orcish Bowmasters, Bloodletter of Aclazotz-that turn card-draw and attrition into table-wide damage. Premium tutors and Necropotence/Necrodominance fuel assembly of compact combo finishes such as Peer into the Abyss lines and Demonic Consultation + Doctor Doom, Unrivaled. Contamination plus token fodder offers a soft lock, and the Lantern face is a repeatable attrition activated ability when the God is unavailable.
