Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy creature combo list commanded by Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Ghired alongside creature-untap engines like Village Bell-Ringer, Midnight Guard, or Hyrax Tower Scout. By creating a single token copy of an untapper through spells like Twinflame, Molten Duplication, or Heat Shimmer, Ghired and other nontoken creatures repeatedly tap to create additional token copies. Each entering token untaps the board, generating infinite hasty attackers that close the game in a single combat step. Supported by explosive mana acceleration from Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and green dorks, the deck can reliably threaten wins by Turn 4. Robust secondary lines like Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Dualcaster Mage ensure independence from the commander. A dense package of free and cheap defensive interaction, including Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention, guards the combo turn against opposing interaction.
