All Hail, Shadow! by GPolaris

Format: Commander

Commander: Shadow the Hedgehog

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos (black-red) aggro-combo deck helmed by Shadow the Hedgehog that weaponizes haste and death triggers. The commander's ability draws a card whenever a creature with flash or haste dies, turning every sacrifice and board wipe into card advantage. The deck generates a massive volume of Treasure tokens through cards like Pitiless Plunderer, Goldspan Dragon, and Big Score, which power the commander's Chaos Control ability (split second when artifact mana is spent) and fuel X-spell finishers. Primary win conditions are infinite combos: Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + a Zombie + a drain effect (Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance), or Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts for infinite hasty attackers. A secondary beatdown plan with mass haste and Treasure-fueled combat can also close games. The deck is explosive but depends on drawing the right pieces, with only one conditional tutor (Lagomos, Hand of Hatred).
