Deck overview

This mono-white midrange deck is built around Lyra, Archangel of Dawn, leveraging Angel tribal synergies and recurring lifegain triggers to grow an evasive aerial army. The strategy begins by deploying early lifegain enablers such as Soul Warden, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, or Bishop of Wings, followed by casting the commander on curve. Once assembled, each lifegain instance places +1/+1 counters onto every Angel on the battlefield, steadily scaling power across the board. The deck accelerates into impactful midrange and top-end threats like Resplendent Angel, Lyra Dawnbringer, Sephara, Sky's Blade, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope, supported by tribal cost reducers like Pearl Medallion and Urza's Incubator. It closes games through wide, evasive combat damage bolstered by lifelink, vigilance, and overwhelming stat growth. While resilient against damage-based trades and aggressive pressure, the deck is vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and relies heavily on combat steps to eliminate opponents.
