K'rrik WIP by CalamityMDM

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

K'rrik is a mono-black life-as-mana engine. The deck's primary plan is to cast K'rrik early, use life to cheat on black mana, and chain spells from Bolas's Citadel to storm into Aetherflux Reservoir or Tendrils of Agony. A secondary reanimator line uses Chainer, Dementia Master plus Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Ashnod's Altar to drain via repeated ETBs. Tutors and card draw smooth assembly. Commander role is the mana engine and devotion source; most fast lines collapse without him. It is not a hidden-commander deck-K'rrik is the only real engine, with Bolas's Citadel serving as an accessible second engine.
