Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai big-mana control and combo deck commanded by Damia, Sage of Stone. The strategy focuses on accelerating through land ramp and artifact mana into overwhelming card draw engines. By leveraging cards such as Teferi's Ageless Insight, Alhammarret's Archive, and Damia herself, the deck rapidly empties and refills its hand. It disrupts opponents with asymmetric tax and lock pieces, most notably combining Notion Thief with wheel effects like Windfall and Dark Deal to strip opposing hands while amassing massive card advantage. The primary victory route leverages massive burst draw spells like Peer into the Abyss or Enter the Infinite, turning card velocity directly into lethal life loss with Psychosis Crawler or an immediate victory via Laboratory Maniac and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. While the deck possesses explosive late-game reach, it relies on reaching high mana thresholds and requires careful management of life totals and protection windows.
