Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange stompy strategy centered on +1/+1 counters and massive Tyranid creatures. Commanded by The Swarmlord, the deck accelerates its mana in the opening turns using synergistic ramp pieces like Biophagus, Nexos, and Magus Lucea Kane. By Turn 4, it establishes an operational engine capable of casting or duplicating large X-cost spells. On Turn 5, it transitions into critical onset by deploying evasive, high-power threats such as Winged Hive Tyrant, Exocrine, or Old One Eye. Combat buffs from Branching Evolution and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus allow the deck to overpower opposing boards and close the game by Turn 7. While vulnerable to exile-based board wipes and lacking instant-speed stack interaction, the deck maintains resilience through commander-driven card draw, counter preservation via The Ozolith, and broad functional redundancy.
