Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck is built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger, leveraging undercosted, high-power creatures to reduce the commander's casting cost to a mere {G}{G}. The early game establishes rapid acceleration using 1-mana dorks and 2-mana land ramp, smoothly deploying 5-power and 6-power beaters like Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull on Turns 2 and 3. Ghalta enters as early as Turn 4, triggering powerful draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. By Turn 5, the deck presents overwhelming combat pressure, closing out games with trample damage and mass pump spells like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While exceptionally fast and redundant at establishing massive board states, the deck is vulnerable to sweepers and lacks dense stack interaction or dedicated protection spells.
