Commander: Caesar, Legion's Emperor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Caesar, Legion's Emperor leads a Mardu token-aristocrats deck that turns small, expendable creatures into hasty Soldiers, card draw, and direct damage. The primary plan is to widen the board through Anim Pakal, Adeline, Thalisse, Mondrak, and Elspeth, then convert every token and death into life loss via Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, and Warleader's Call. Caesar is a strong engine but not the only one; the deck can pivot to midrange beatdown or one of two grind loops, the cleanest being Exquisite Blood plus Marauding Blight-Priest with any life-gain trigger. A low land count and light stack interaction make the start fragile, but redundant engines and recursion make it stubborn once established.
