Deck overview

Rex, Cyber-Hound is a hybrid energy/artifact-combo commander. The deck mills opponents while accruing energy, then exiles key creature cards with activated abilities and copies them, turning Rex into a toolbox for infinite-mana engines. The primary kill is Walking Ballista fed by Grand Architect + Pili-Pala, Marvin + Palladium Myr + Pili-Pala, or Rex with Omen Hawker and a self-untap creature. Secondary lines use energy loops from Aethergeode Miner/Aetherstorm Roc to make Rex huge with Electrostatic Pummeler's ability, or grind through fliers and value. Heavy draw/filtering and artifact recursion keep the engine intact, while cheap protection spells buy time for assembly.
