The Lord of the Earth by Toolbox

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord is the sole commander and the deck's engine. The primary plan is to cast Sauron, trigger "the Ring tempts you" often via Nazgul, Bilbo, and amass effects, then discard the hand to draw four cards; this fuels a tall Army token that wins through trample and treasures. Secondary lines use Living Death, Reanimate, and Too Greedily, Too Deep to reanimate huge threats, and Desert Were-Worm's extra combat or Mount Doom / Palantir of Orthanc as alternate closers. There is no hidden commander; the Ring-tempt shell is a theme across Nazgul and LOTR legendaries, with no single second card serving as a concealed general.
