Deck overview

This deck is a classic Edgar Markov aggro-aristocrats engine built around the power of Eminence. By casting inexpensive Vampire spells from Turn 1 onward, the deck generates free 1/1 Vampire tokens without needing to cast its commander. It rapidly amasses a wide board presence that compounds with tribal lords, +1/+1 counter synergies, and explosive damage multipliers like Shared Animosity and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Opponents face continuous chip damage and combat pressure, which are reinforced by aristocrat drain effects whenever creatures die. While primarily winning through combat damage across multiple turns, the deck also includes an incidental two-card infinite drain combo via Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Its interactive suite features versatile creature removal and efficient defensive spells like Boros Charm and Flawless Maneuver to safeguard the swarm from sweepers.
