Deck overview

This is a Dimir ninjutsu deck helmed by Satoru Umezawa, built around one of the format's most efficient cheat-into-play engines. The core plan is to deploy a cheap unblockable attacker, then ninjutsu in a game-ending threat - Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Darksteel Colossus, Bane of Bala Ged, or Hand of Emrakul - for a flat {2}{U}{B} (discounted further by Silver-Fur Master). Because ninjutsu puts the creature onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, every cheated-in monster swings the turn it arrives. The commander's trigger (look at top three, keep one) plus Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow in the 99 provide steady card flow and incidental burn. A secondary reanimation package (Zombify, Sepulchral Primordial, Gyruda, Doom of Depths) recovers threats that die, and a modest counterspell suite protects the plan. The deck wins through repeated, overwhelming combat damage from creatures that cost far more than the mana actually spent.
