Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on aggressive board development and explosive +1/+1 counter multiplication led by Yoshimaru, Beloved Companion. The deck establishes an early presence with efficient low-cost creatures and ramp, curving directly into Yoshimaru on Turn 3. Once on the battlefield, Yoshimaru's replacement effect adds an extra counter whenever counters are placed on any friendly creature, dramatically accelerating board growth alongside engines like Felidar Retreat, Cathars' Crusade, and Virtue of Loyalty. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage. By Turn 6, the deck converts wide boards into massive evasive threats through Abzan Falconer, Sigarda's Summons, or Sally Pride, Lioness Leader, eliminating opponents sequentially by Turn 8. While the deck possesses resilient board protection in Clever Concealment, Unbreakable Formation, and Valkyrie's Call, its reliance on natural draws and lack of stack interaction leaves it susceptible to well-timed sweepers and fast spell-based combo decks.
