Sahir, Visitor in Darkness

Format: Commander

Commander: Sahir, Visitor in Darkness

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sahir, Visitor in Darkness is the deck's value engine: his eminence upkeep ping, combined with one other "lose exactly 1 life" trigger (Bitterblossom, Phyrexian Arena, Black Market Connections), draws an extra card most turns while the deck advances a mono-black life-loss/lifegain plan. The primary finish is Aetherflux Reservoir with Bloodthirsty Conqueror, turning 50 life into repeated 50-damage shots. Secondary paths include big Gray Merchant of Asphodel drains, Triskaidekaphobia life-total control, and Ormendahl (from Jerren) as a beatdown threat. Doctor Doom, Unrivaled is a backup library-out win but not reliably reached. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Sahir's eminence.
