Lurrus

Format: Commander

Commander: Lurrus of the Dream-Den

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov aristocrats deck uses Lurrus of the Dream-Den to grind value from permanents that cost two or less. It builds a board of drain payoffs such as Elas il-Kor, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance and Blood Artist, then sacrifices creatures repeatedly for incremental life loss. Lurrus acts as a repeatable recursion engine, recasting one permanent from the graveyard each turn, while Cat synergies and lifegain cards like Ajani's Pridemate and Lunar Convocation provide a secondary combat plan. Warlock Class, Ravenous Amulet and Revival // Revenge offer burst finishes. With no infinite combo, it wins by attrition and needs to protect its payoffs through a long game.
