Mrs. Steal Yer Gal/Guys by kkruit

Format: Commander

Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Marchesa, the Black Rose leads a Grixis theft-and-recursion deck; she is the visible engine and there is no hidden commander. The primary plan is to steal opponent creatures with effects like Mark of Mutiny or Press into Service, put a +1/+1 counter on them, sacrifice them, and let Marchesa's delayed trigger return them to the battlefield under your control permanently. A secondary, commander-independent line combines Thran Vigil with persist creatures and Goblin Bombardment to create an infinite-damage loop. Sacrifice outlets and draw-on-death effects feed the engine, while Fain, Unspeakable Symbol, and Feast on the Fallen provide flexible +1/+1 counters. The deck can grind out huge advantages but is less reliable when it cannot find its few enablers.
