Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai Elf-ball commander, and the deck has no hidden commander; the other legendary Elves are support pieces. The deck builds a critical mass of small Elf mana dorks and token makers, then uses surveil, mill, and discard effects to stock the graveyard with useful Elf activated abilities. Once Thranduil is online, copied Archdruid and Priest of Titania taps can produce nine or more mana, which Staff of Domination converts into a draw/untap loop. The primary finish is Jarad's sacrifice drain or a wide Elf alpha strike backed by lords and landfall tokens. The secondary path is regular Elf tribal beatdown with token generation and combat tricks.
