Deck overview

Alela, Cunning Conqueror is a flash-heavy Dimir faerie deck that turns every opponent's turn into an engine: each first spell creates a Faerie Rogue token, and those tokens goad enemy attackers while triggering combat-draw effects. The primary plan is to out-tempo the table with cheap flash flyers, accrue card advantage through Kindred Discovery, Bident of Thassa, and Nymris, then close with a catastrophic alpha strike. Notorious Throng (from Rogue damage) can double the flying army and grant an extra turn, while Shadow Puppeteers can convert the swarm into 4/4 Dragons. Alela is not a hidden commander; she is the main token engine, though the deck can still rebuild through Bitterbloom Bearer, Talrand, and Oona.
