Y'shtola Control (High Bracket 3) by fortune317

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed leads an Esper control-drain deck that wins by grinding incremental life loss. The primary plan casts Y'shtola on turn 3-4, then chains noncreature spells costing 3 or more to trigger her 2 damage to each opponent and gain 2 life, while drawing extra cards whenever any player loses 4+ life in a turn. Delney, Streetwise Lookout acts as a hidden commander, doubling Y'shtola's triggers and other small-creature value. Secondary paths use Bloodchief Ascension, Sheoldred the Apocalypse, and The Meathook Massacre for passive drain, and a large Exsanguinate to close. Emet-Selch of the Third Seat provides graveyard recursion for spells.
