Deck overview

Hashaton, Scarab's Fist is a discard-matters reanimator deck. The primary plan is to use cheap looters and draw spells to discard high-value creatures, then pay {2}{U} to turn them into 4/4 black Zombie copies while keeping their enters-the-battlefield abilities. Secondary paths include classic reanimation spells like Animate Dead, Victimize, and Living Death to recover key pieces from the graveyard. Hashaton is the engine; without him, the deck leans on its reanimation suite but loses its most efficient threat generation. The deck wins by overwhelming combat with multiple large tokens, supplemented by incidental drain from Syr Konrad, with no true combo or hard lock.
