Format: Commander

Commander: Shadowfax, Lord of Horses

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shadowfax is a Boros combat-trick deck that cheats creatures into play during the attack step. The primary plan is to grow Shadowfax with pump effects, use its trigger to put Aurelia into play for an extra combat, then chain triggers to drop evasive 5/5 angels and treasure drivers. Secondary lines use Smothering Tithe, Goldspan Dragon, and Professional Face-Breaker to build a mana engine, plus Herald of Eternal Dawn and Serra's Emissary as a 'can't lose' shield. Keleth, Sunmane Familiar can also pump Shadowfax into the 6-power range. No hidden commander; Shadowfax is the engine, and Keleth is a support card in the 99.
